In this illustrated book, the Berlin State Ballet, Germany’s largest dance company, and its director Vladimir Malakhov, one of the most renowned and prominent representatives of the international ballet scene, again give the readers a fascinating insight into their joint work: Inside not only provides impressions of the rehearsals, but especially brings the ten premieres as well as the two revivals of the last two seasons back to life. Christiane Theobald is the company manager and assistant artistic director of the Berlin State Ballet.Enrico Nawrath attended the DresdenPaluccaSchool and the BerlinStateBalletSchool from 1988-1993 where he trained as a stage dancer. From 1993 he performed engagements at the Berlin State Opera Unter den Linden, the Dresden Semperoper and the Berlin Deutsche Oper; since 1994 he has also worked as a photographer. 2006-2008 he was production photographer of the Berlin State Ballet and in 2008 photographer of the Bayreuth Festival.
