Description

Featuring a 5mm thick shell that is expertly handcrafted from 4 layers of Bubinga, and 1 inner ply of Cordia, and 1 outer ply of Australian Blackwood. Snare size of 14 x 6, the shell has hand cut Sound Focus rings top and bottom and a beautiful inlay on the outside of the shell.

Standard features on all Tama Star Drums are Diecast Hoops, Tama Star Super Resonant tom mounting systems, Tama Star Quick Lock Tom Brackets and Remo USA drum heads. Coated Ambassadors are fitted to the snare and tom batters, with Ambassador clear resonant heads fitted also. The Bass Drum comes with the Tama Star Logo front Bass Reso head and a Coated Powerstroke 3 Batter head.

• Shell Materials and Contruction
  5mm, 4ply Bubinga shell + 1 outer ply Blackwood + 1 inner ply Cordia with Sound Focus Ring (9mm, 12ply Bubinga)
• Super Resonant Mounting System
  This system has three contact points with the tom, two under the batter-side hoop and one on the resonant-side hoop. This arrangement creates the most effective support system for the drum while also allowing the greatest possible resonance.
• Chrome Die-cast Hoops
  These hoops are made of zinc and deliver crisp attack, enhanced projection, a more focused sound, and easier tuning capability.
• Quick-Lock Tom Brackets
  The Quick-Lock tom brackets are on both the Super Resonant Mounting System as well as the floor toms. They function as their own memory locks and a convenient switch mechanism makes set up and break down fast and easy.
• Bass Drum Claw Hooks
  The bass drum claw hooks are designed to float on the surface of the bass drum hoops, allowing for excellent resonance and tone.
