Player Plus Noiseless PJ Pickups – Featuring both a Player Plus Precision pickup and a Player Plus Noiseless Jazz Bass pickup, this bass gives you the best of both worlds in one instrument. The split-coil Precision pickup delivers a thunderous, punchy low end, while the Jazz Bass pickup provides stunning articulation and growl to your tone – all of this combining to give you a plethora of classic tones at your fingertips.
Modern “C” Neck – One of Fender’s most popular neck shapes, the Modern “C”-shaped neck is an intermediate thickness, equally fast and comfortable. Perfect for all playing styles, the satin finish gives a sophisticated and classy feel, with incredibly fast and comfortable performance across the entire range of the neck.
12″ Radius Fretboard with Rolled Edges – The 12″ radius fretboard is flatter than usual, which allows for fluid leads and bends that won’t fret-out, and the rolled fretboard edges provide extreme comfort.
HiMass Bridge – Featuring a plate with greater mass, this top-load bridge offers greater sustain and resonance, while the 4 beefy saddles sit firmly inside saddle slots for unmatched intonation and tuning stability.
Active/Passive Electronics – This bass features an 18V active preamp, offering boost/cut control over treble, bass, and mid frequencies for precise control over tone shaping. The mini toggle switch allows you to select between active and passive operation for outstanding flexibility.
